Thanks to everyone who came for music yesterday! We did some Christmas songs and I think we all liked Jingle Bells w/ the jingle bells shaking in the background! We will meet again on the 17th, hope to see you then!

Meeting Schedule

After receiving lots of feedback (thank you!), we will be meeting every other week , with the exception of holidays for the remainder of the year and the beginning of next...there were flyers today at music class and there was a mistake on them, sorry!
Please see the dates below to make the correction on your schedule, the second class of November will be November 19th, not the 12th. Please mark you calendars, we hope to see you there!

Feedback Please, Mamas!

Hello everyone!
I am needing some feedback...we have steadily had our numbers to decrease with our music class...what are you thoughts? Should we go to a every other week schedule? Or maybe even once a month? Combine it into Mama & Me? Mama & Me is going strong and we could always just do a few songs within M&M1. I've been wondering if maybe 2 programs a week is too much for everyone's schedule....If you've never been to Mama & Me, check out out blog: www.mamametumc.blogspot.com

I know that we are all traveling on vacations, to grandparents (Lord knows we all need that break!) and we are all dealing with sick kiddos...So, let me know what you think...we had one mom show up today and she decided to go visit with family while her little one was awake, so no one was at music to participate. I stayed untl 10:20ish and then left a note...

...With the holidays quickly approaching, I am just trying to get a feel for what everyone wants to do...please be honest, you will NOT hurt my feelings, not every group mtg is going to be good for everyone......email me at kelleywin@yahoo.com or feel free to leave a comment!

Great group today, Ladies! Hudson asked that we pray for him, so I am listing him as a prayer request (Hudson is my 2 year old, not sure what he needs prayer about, but I am honoring his request). Hope to see you next week!

No Music and Me today

Sorry everyone, but Hudson's been sick off and on this week and we don't want to spread germs. While he was fine yesterday--last night, he was sick, so.....See you all next week!

What a great time!

Thank you to everyone who came this week to Music & Me! We had a great time and we hope that you did, too. I am totally welcoming any and all suggestions and comments. I think that next week will be smoother once everyone kinda has an idea of what to expect.

At our sign in sheet, we had a column for prayer requests and we only had one this week: the new Alpha group at TUMC....so please remember this group in your prayers.

Music and Me will meet on Thursdays at 10am at Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood. The class is free, register each week by emailing Kelley Winslett at kelleywin@yahoo.com. This is a very casual gathering of moms (dads) and their little ones, ages birth-K. If you would like to bring a donation of Goldfish crackers and/or a clean children's book (it can be used!), we'd love to have it.
